Scientists have discovered that food sensitivities are responsible for many seemingly unexplainable diseases and symptoms in up to 80% of the population. Yet, most people are only aware of extreme food allergies in which a person develops an allergic reaction, typically within minutes or hours of being exposed, such as a peanut or shellfish allergy. Food sensitivities and intolerances may take anywhere from 2-7 days to manifest, and can cause varying degrees of symptoms, making them very difficult to discern and detect.
A simple blood test can help you determine which foods might be causing your symptoms and which ones are safe to eat. If you change your diet and ONLY eat your safe foods, then your hyperactive immune system will become quiescent and whatever problem you have that is caused by a food sensitivity will improve and often disappear over a period of time, usually within 90 days. If you can continue to avoid the same foods for at least 6 months the immune memory will be forgotten, and these foods may then be reintroduced to your diet.
